History of Prévoir Wines
Prévoir Wines is a story of faith, prayer, and dreams turned into reality.
Tertius de Villiers established Prévoir in 2015, when he started cultivating a neglected block of vineyard in the Robertson Wine Valley. The name Prévoir (pronounced “pray-vwah”) is French for “to foresee” or “to anticipate”. It was chosen to reflect Tertius’s belief that God has a plan for his life and that all things are possible with faith. For Tertius, this word encapsulates his approach to wine: always looking ahead to see what’s next, while also taking the time to enjoy the present moment.
Today, Tertius is a happy man, thanks to the fine wine that he produces with all his heart. He affectionately shares his bottles with family and friends, always with great pleasure. It is this fundamental value of giving that enhances the Prévoir experience.
